Digital Journey Basic Course (Ages 8 – 12) (2 years program)
Digital Journey Basic Course (Ages 8 – 12) (2 years program)

In today’s world of technology where our kids are often first introduced to devices which are only equipped with a touch screen interface, it is increasingly valuable for them to learn how to use the keyboard properly or save their favorite image into the computer.

Scratch is a visual programming language that will kickstart the students’ interest in coding.

Let your child excel in Computational Thinking with our progressive learning roadmap which takes them through Application Development,  and HTML, CSS, Unity, and C++.  Students create real-world application and solutions and will be exposed to the intricacies of UI/UX design.

Course Structure

Review Scratch 1 concepts and learn more functions in Scratch 2 such as scene transitions and the creation of blocks.
With your knowledge of programming and game design theory, develop games such as Nerf War and other Unity Games.
Storyboard, characters, play mechanics and feedback systems are a few examples of the fundamentals.
Level Up your Scratch skills: Scratch 2 is a natural progression for students to hone their skills from Scratch 1. Your child will be able to reiterate concepts with more challenging activities (practice makes perfect!) and realise their childhood dreams of building the coolest game or exciting blockbuster-like animation. Combining game design fundamentals and in-depth programming knowledge, they will design their own animations and culminate in creating a project of their own during the practical classes.

Young Architects Program

Children and teens can be surprisingly creative designers and budding builders. The light-hearted Young Architects Program inspires children and teens to explore the built environment and learn about existing and historical structures and buildings. The Program is designed and delivered with an integrative approach that crosses over math, science and art. Students engage in hands-on activities to understand principles of architecture such as design, order, balance, form, function, aesthetics and sustainability, as well as improve visual literacy and verbal vocabulary. Students experience with fun-filled model-making and elementary drawings of floor plans, buildings and structures. They are motivated to look at nature for amazing creative clues and design solutions for human habitat.
